Referral Terms

These terms cover our referral scheme. They are part of our Terms. "You" means the account holder who shares a referral link. "Your friend" means the person who uses it.

1. How it works

  1. Your dashboard has a referral link. You can copy it and share it.
  2. Your friend gets 50% off their first order of residential data. It does not apply to the trial or to UK ISP plans.
  3. You get residential data equal to half of the gigabytes in that order. Example: your friend buys 100 GB, and we add 50 GB to your balance.
  4. One website order holds up to 100 GB, so the largest reward for one order is 50 GB.
  1. Your friend must be a new customer, and must use your link before they pay. We cannot add a referral to an order afterwards. A friend who has bought only the trial still counts as new.
  2. Your friend must be 18 or over and must open their own account under our Terms.

3. Your friend's 50% off

  1. We take the 50% off on "Check and pay", before your friend pays. "Check and pay" shows the price with the 50% off.
  2. The 50% off cannot be used with a promotion code or with any other offer.
  3. Your friend has the same rights as any other customer, including the 14-day right in our Refund Policy. We work out any refund from the price they paid.

4. Your reward

  1. We add the reward to your balance as soon as your friend's order is paid.
  2. You use reward data in the same way as residential data that you bought. It does not expire.
  3. A reward has no cash value. You cannot swap it for money or move it to another account.

5. When we take a reward back

  1. If your friend's order is refunded, or its payment is disputed, we may remove the reward. If only part of the order is refunded, we remove the matching part.
  2. If you have already used the reward, we may take the same amount from reward data still on your balance, or from later rewards. We do not take data that you paid for. We do not ask you for money, unless you acted dishonestly.
  3. We may refuse or remove a reward, and switch off your link, if you break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  4. We tell you by email when we remove a reward, and why. You can ask us to look again.
  1. Share your link with people you know, who would expect to hear from you.
  2. Tell them that you get a reward if they buy.
  3. Do not send your link in bulk or unwanted emails, texts or direct messages. The law treats those as marketing that needs the other person's consent.
  4. Do not pay for adverts that use our name, and do not pretend to be us.
  5. Say only what our website says about the service. Do not suggest that it is for breaking the law or a website's rules.
  6. Follow the rules of the site or group where you post.

7. What each of you can see

  1. You see that you earned a reward and how large it is. From that you can work out the size of your friend's first order.
  2. You do not see your friend's name, their email address or their later orders.
  3. We tell your friend on "Check and pay" that the person who referred them gets a reward based on the size of the order.
  4. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use this data.

8. Changing or ending the scheme

  1. We may change or end the scheme for the future. We post the change on this page at least 30 days before it applies.
  2. A change does not affect an order that was already paid, or a reward that was already earned.
