Questions and answers

Short answers to what buyers ask before they buy, and after.

Buying

Residential or UK ISP: which do I need?

Residential proxies come from 45.9M+ residential IPs in 190+ countries. You pay by the gigabyte. Data does not expire.

UK ISP proxies are dedicated London IPs that stay yours while you renew. You pay for each proxy every 28 days, and bandwidth is unmetered.

Choose residential proxies for many countries or a changing IP. Choose UK ISP proxies when a UK site should see the same IP every time.

Do I need an account before I buy?

Yes. You create it first, with your name, an email address and a password. We email a code to confirm the address. No ID upload. No sales call.

Can I test it first?

Yes. Try 200 MB for pennies. There is one trial per account. You see its price in your account before you pay.

Will the proxies work on every website?

Not always. We do not control other websites. A website can slow, challenge or block traffic from any proxy. We make no promise that the service will work with a particular website. Try 200 MB for pennies.

How do I pay?

By card, on Stripe's secure page. In your account, one screen shows the order. You tick one box, then pay.

What currency do I pay in?

Pounds sterling.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Residential data is one payment, and nothing renews. A UK ISP plan renews every 28 days until you cancel, and you can cancel renewal at any time. Each order is a contract on our Terms.

Can I cancel an order?

Consumers can cancel a new order within 14 days. See Refunds.

Residential proxies

Why can 10 GB cost less than 9 GB?

The whole order is charged at one rate. 9 GB at £4.00 per GB is £36.00. 10 GB at £3.20 per GB is £32.00. When a larger order costs the same or less, the residential price panel says so and offers to switch you in one press.

What if I do not use the data?

It stays on your account. Data does not expire.

Rotating or sticky: what is the difference?

A rotating session gets a new IP with each request. A sticky session keeps the same IP. A sticky session holds for up to 60 minutes. You choose for each proxy list you generate.

Which protocols and ports can I use?

Residential proxies: HTTP on port 8888, or SOCKS5 on port 1080, with a username and a password. UK ISP proxies: HTTP and HTTPS, with a username and a password.

Do failed requests use my data?

No. Failed requests are not charged. That applies to residential data, the product you pay for by the gigabyte. UK ISP proxies are unmetered.

Can I buy more than 100 GB?

One order holds up to 100 GB. For more, send a message with the volume you need. Choose the topic "More than 100 GB".

Can I choose the country?

Yes. With residential proxies, you choose the country, or a pool such as Random EU, when you generate a proxy list. UK ISP proxies are in London only.

Can I choose the city?

No. You choose the country, not the city.

How many connections can I run at once?

There is no limit on concurrent connections.

UK ISP proxies

How is UK ISP billed?

£1.50 per proxy every 28 days, from 10 proxies. It is a subscription and it renews until you cancel. We charge each plan on its renewal date. Cancel any time before the next renewal. If a payment fails, we email you and try again twice, once a day. The proxies keep working while we try. If the second retry also fails, the plan ends and its proxies are deactivated.

See UK ISP proxies.

Can I hold more than one UK ISP plan?

Yes. Each order is its own plan. A new plan starts the day you pay. It renews every 28 days from that day. Your other plans do not change.

How do I stop a UK ISP plan?

Cancel renewal in your dashboard, any time before the next renewal. The proxies work until the end of the 28 days you paid for, and you are not charged again.

What is a whole subnet?

One full /24 range: 254 IPs in one block. Every address in the range is yours alone. It costs £375.00 every 28 days. One subnet per order.

Do UK ISP proxies rotate?

No. Each proxy keeps its IP. For a new IP with each request, use residential proxies.

What if UK ISP proxies are out of stock?

The price panel says so. No new order can start for now. Plans you already hold keep working and renewing.

Using the proxies

See ticket proxies for the UK and Europe, or ticket proxies for the US.

Can I use them for web scraping?

Yes. You can use our proxies to collect information that websites make public. You are responsible for the law on copyright and personal data, and for each site's terms.

See proxies for web scraping.

Can I use them for SEO and advert checks?

Yes. Our Acceptable Use Policy welcomes checking search rankings and how adverts appear in other places. It bans fake clicks, views and advert traffic.

See SEO and ad verification proxies.

What may I not do with them?

Anything illegal, and anything our Acceptable Use Policy lists. It also says how to report abuse of our IP addresses.

How do I connect my tool?
